Recently, the team of Wu Zhongshuai and Liu Shengzhong, researchers of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, developed a water system MXene/PH1000 hybrid ink. Using inkjet printing technology, high-precision and large-scale micro supercapacitor with high volume capacity was prepared, and a plane fully flexible self powered temperature sensor system was constructed. The relevant research results were published in Advanced Energy Materials.

IR (Insulation Resistance) refers to the degree of leakage current caused by the resistance of the dielectric material in a capacitor. It is the resistance of the dielectric material itself. IR can be measured by leakage current. Knowing the leakage current and applied voltage, the insulation resistance can be calculated based on Ohm's law. There are two basic ways to measure leakage current. Firstly, use an ammeter connected in series with a capacitor and a voltage source (Figure 1).
